Spelling City Website
This website was shared by salmon coach bag. She is experiencing a great deal of success with parents using this as a home connection. She types in the spelling words assigned for the week. Take a peak and leave feedback for us.

Update on spelling city!
The more I use this the more I figure it out!
An easy way to find your lists is to just click on the top to 'find list' and then type your last name.
Also, when differentiating your spelling lists instead of sending home numerous lists, parents can just get online and print out the lists themselves. Of course you have to make sure they all have internet access, etc. It's so much easier than handing out lists every week, etc. Just publish online!
For students who have internet access, I've also begun to accept typed work via email. Since we're doing everything with email now, students are able to submit work by email. I've noticed students are beginning to type their work, so I've begun to mention to parents that they are able to submit via email. Parents and students are sooooo excite about this! We're moving into the 21st century in elementary school, and going green at the same time!
